Schumer (D-N.Y.) said, January 22, that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will deliver an article of impeachment against former president Donald Trump on Monday, Jan 25, clearing the way for a Senate trial. The House impeached Trump for “incitement of insurrection” for his role in the Jan. 6 takeover of the Capitol by a violent mob.
